Greetings to all,

Sounds started in the transmissions of my 2012 model 62.000 km 308 Diesel Auto6R 112hp vehicle from small N to A or other transitions. I love my car but the gearbox and the stiffness of the steering wheel are really disastrous.

I wanted to update the gearbox software at Peugeot authorized services (I am an engineer in myself) and I assume that it will switch more easily with the software, it will work more harmoniously with the hardware, but the service will be able to update to 100 TL, but after the update, if the damage, etc. He said that they will not provide any guarantee.

Could I update my Auto6R gearboxes 5 years old and old and have problems?

Have you ever had chip tunning and horsepower of the vehicle to 140hp and have problems?

Accident-free use for everyone.

First of all, welcome to us. As you know, auto6r is a semi-automatic problem, people who have this type of problem usually disappear after software update. but there are those who say that fuel consumption is increasing.

Automated gearboxes change the clutch and gear thanks to the sensor and robot due to the structure. As the sensor wears a certain distance with the wear of the ballast pad over time, it starts to feel shaking and hence noise in the gearshifts, and this is the most experienced in 1-2-3 transitions.

While some services are able to solve this event, most services go up to part replacement. I have no idea what special services do.

The process is as follows,

There is a training menu in the transmission brain, this menu starts working if the vehicle is in suitable conditions and provides calibration of the gear. In this way, the position of the gear and the pad is updated. A friend wrote in the forum.

Of course, chip tuning work can be done.

While Peugeot Global is sending this software to its services in the world, I guess that it will not send without testing in France. Just as Windows is updating, the firmware needs to be updated to fix errors.

But authorized services are afraid to make this update and take responsibility.
Actually, I guess it is a software update that can be done after calibrating and adjusting the gear before returning to the factory settings.

Are there any reliable chip tunning companies you know?

Exactly, my teacher will not be able to update them before the tests are done. Perhaps, when the gear calibration is done, the problem may even disappear and you may not need to update at all. Unfortunately, there are no chip tuners I know because I have not been dealing with those issues too much. Stock engine is enough for me Smile may be from it.
