CC steering to 307 - 307

greetings

I applied 307 CC steering to my vehicle.

First of all, while I was thinking about buying metal parts of plastic at 307 cc and covering them with leather, I realized that the cc steering had a different structure.

The cc steering is thicker in some areas and the parts where the plastic coverings will sit are thinner.

these parts are sold in peugeot service but it will take time to get on a normal 307 steering wheel and it is challenging

left 61 TL

right 61TL

medium 56 TL

it will cost 180 TL when I buy these parts and it is both difficult and untested to install on my old steering wheel

I provided an original cc steering without any risk.

his skin was outrageous and was worn out by the plastic parts on it.

the plastic piece on the right was much worse.

First, I removed these parts from the steering wheel.

I bought one of the paint in silvery gray from Koçtaş.

I tried to paint in the garden, but there was a lot of wind. The pieces I painted flew with the newsprint and came over the soil. I left the painting job as it was.

The next day, today, I sanded 3 parts with water sandpaper and wiped it well.

Small particles of dust remain after sanding. There is a very bad trail after the paint. Therefore, after wiping with a very damp cloth, it is necessary to dry it with a dry cloth.

This time I painted all 3 pieces on the balcony at home. I learned to paint the paint, it is really useful to spray the object to be painted from 25 cm.

I painted more closely in my painting yesterday and there were traces of drops on the paint.

After painting, I covered the steering wheel in the leather coating workshop in the truck garden. Eat 130 TL. It took about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

When I got home, it dried in plastic parts (24 hours to dry completely, but there is no problem with hand touch)

After painting the plastic parts like noon tomorrow, I am thinking of polishing the next day. or varnish.

now the parts are not attached to the steering wheel, I temporarily put it on top while taking pictures

Rather than giving 100-150 pounds to the worn steering wheel and covering it with leather, it makes more sense to have both sports and leather steering with such an application. Thumbs Up
