Car interior camera with rear view camera - 407

First of all hello to everyone.

As I installed on my previous vehicle, I wanted to attach a rear view camera to my Pegueot 407 1.6 HDI Comfort model. When I was at E, I said the monitor should be in the rearview mirror and a camera for pre-registration, and I rolled up the sleeves ... I thought the cable route and the operation steps could be useful for those who want to attach a rear view camera or parking sensor by sharing the steps I have done. The first job was to order from the China site, the material arrived in 15 days. 109TL. no customs, no cargo. The package includes a monitor rearview mirror, rear view camera and cigarette lighter adapter for feeding. It can record on Micro SD card but it is not included in the package.

First of all, I wanted to test it by installing the system on the table to see if it has any problems and to work up to three or five up and down. 12V. I made the connections with the adapter, the rear view camera has a socket connection for the mirror, in addition to the reverse lamp. When the voltage comes through the reversing lamp connection, the guide lines become active. Other times, it can record in the back camera together with the front camera.

First I fastened the mirror with the tires on the original rearview mirror and fixed it. I started laying the cables from this point. Friends who want to attach a parking sensor can attach the monitor's monitor next to the rearview mirror and pull the cable from the same route.

You can lift the glass side of the ceiling tile slightly under the cables. In this way I came to the edge of the door.

When you pull the side post cover inwards, there is a tab on the top, it comes out. I passed the cables from under this cover to the door rubber.

When you pull the door rubber towards you, it comes out of the bonnet, any nails etc. No, don't be tight. I kept passing both the voltage and the rear view camera cables coming from the mirror under the door rubber. There is enough space under the tire towards the body, it fits easily and there is no problem.

After disconnecting the voltage cable as in the upper picture, I continued to pull the cable of the rear view camera under the front door edge plastic. When you lift this plastic upwards, you need to save it from two nails, but be careful not to break the nails ... After getting rid of the nails, it will be easier if you first save the pole from the plastic cover there and then recover it by the hood opening latch. At this point, only friends who will attach a parking sensor have to continue pulling the cable to the back brain, they will not disconnect any voltage cables ...

Between the two doors, lift the cable slightly below the inner plastic, I've spent ...

Like the front door plastic, I carefully pulled the back door plastic upwards and freed it from its nails. I put the cable under it and put it back in place.

When I tilt the lower part of the back seat forward, the side plastic is almost wasted, maybe I don't know because the nails are missing, but I passed this area easily ...

There is a hinge in the area near the door when the back seat is tilted. From there, you can immediately go under the luggage upholstery.

It is easy now after getting into the trunk ... I removed the cover behind the stop lamp, I connected the feed end of the rear view camera to the yellow cable, if I don't remember the wrong coming to the reverse lamp. (For the parking sensor, a voltage must be received from the reversing lamp to the sensor brain (+), for the brain (-) the chassis end will be taken from the socket here. Also, the monitor tip from the front will be plugged into the corresponding socket of the brain, and after the rear sensors are installed, the four sensor tips are here will enter the brain)

I put the cable of the rear view camera behind the bumper by drilling a hole, plugged it into the socket of the cable I pulled from the front. I screwed the camera between the license plate lamps with two screws.

The front of the camera is almost flush with the bumper ....

There is only one problem, the leds around the rear view camera are whirring when the camera is inactive. doing, it goes out 1.5 minutes after switching off the ignition. The LEDs are normal when the rear view camera is active. I said it goes out 1.5 minutes after the ignition is turned off, but one of them continues to lightly faintly. I guess that the reversing camera also has a recording feature, so I guess that it gets voltage from the mirror, I connected the (+) end resistor from the reversing lamp, nothing changed. I hope it will not cause any trouble ....
I do not know how beneficial sharing has happened or does it work for someone but I wanted to share ...
