Brake Light

The brake light is not lit. They said the brake sleeve is faulty. What is this?

The auto electrician takes care of it in 10 minutes.

Peugeot 206 Brake Switch Repair & Replacement

Tools

- Thin screwdriver set
- Oil-free Philips Contact Cleaner (blue)
- Philips spray oil (red)
- fine sandpaper
- Multimeter
- Side Chisel

1. We separate the foot from the foot at the bottom of the brake pedal. (by turning counterclockwise)

2. We disconnect the electrical connector.

3. We cut the nail into two by freeing it from your nails.

4. We remove the contact mechanism from the inside.

5. We clean the oxidized contacts with blue philips spray. We bend it slightly by hardening. If the plastics on the nail feet have slipped, we put them in place.

6. Lightly lubricate the spring mechanism.

07. We reunite the client with his nails again. We check the contacts with the multimeter. The two connector circuits on the left will be open and the other two connector circuits will be closed, otherwise the opposite will occur when you press the client.

08. We lock the spring by adjusting the red locking tab as shown in the figure.

09. We open the height adjustment well and put it in the last position. (the red lock will automatically throw and release the spring when it enters the insertion slot)

10. While holding the pedal to stop at its uppermost position, we push the sensor towards its seat. The height bar will come in with a crunch. we see that the red lock releases the spring by turning it clockwise when it is fully seated in its slot. We finish the process by connecting the electrical connector.
