Greetings. I've been working on this for a week or two. After long trials, I was able to use the site below and finally open the aux channel. Very good in sound and not mono, stereo.
Aux-in jack for VDO RD3-00 car radio (Peugeot, Citroen)

It was explained on the site but I wanted to explain it in Turkish again.

As for the material, you need around 30 cm stereo headphone cable and female jack input, that's all.

The headphone cable has three ends:
* Chassis
* L (Left)
* R (Right)

We solder the L and R ends to points 1 and 2 in the photo. We also solder two separate cables right above them. I used different colors to make it easy to understand.

The other end of the yellow cable will be soldered to 3 ...... The other end of the red cable will be soldered to point 4:

So these four points are actually:

Front l
Front r
Rear L
Rear R

Thus, we gather the front and rear Lefts somewhere and the front and rear Rights somewhere. Continued:

The female jack connections are as in the picture. Black and green cables L and R. Chassis to the left of green. The free cable is the additional end we made to the chassis with another cable. By connecting this cable to a screw on the tape, we will solve the chassis event (see bottom picture):

Connections are over. It is up to you after that. Whether you remove the cable from the bottom of the tape, or make a hole in the front panel and stick the jack to its socket.

For the jack, I drilled a screwdriver on the front panel of the tape:

I cleaned the plastic burrs with a utility knife:

I put Jack in the hole and glue it with hot silicone:

After the silicone has cooled and froze, we collect the tape and put it back in, and the process is finished. Smile

The final version was as follows:

And the trial video:

Congratulations there were those who did it, but it was a nice work that you shared the knee. Health to your hand.

In another way, there were people who used the cd audio by using the chip and yours is working from cdchanger or cd.

Thanks. With this system, we make the connection to the audio input of the integrated without a shortcut. So before the signal of the radio and CD. So we have no business with CD Changer. (You need to introduce it to the vehicle at the auto service or something ...)

The interesting thing is that I can also get sound when the tape is off. I adjust the volume control from the mp3 player. I did not dare to turn up the sound until the end. Smile Both sounds are very strong and sounds very good. Even if I turn on the radio or CD while playing MP3, nothing happens. I can listen to both. Big smile

I did the same thing to the tape of a Proton vehicle today. I first found the scheme of the audio transmitter integration of the tape. I looked at the scheme and looked for the legs that wrote things like LF OUT, RF OUT LR OUT, RR OUT and made the system I described above. I think this system can be made to all tapes.

The scheme of VDO RD3's integrated SAA7708H :

USB input can be made?

If you mean to charge from USB, there are devices plugged into the cigarette lighter socket.

I guess you mean listening to songs in USB memory. Unfortunately no. Because there is no hardware in the tape to recognize USB.

There are also those kinds of apparatuses. Mentioned in the forum:
http://forum.peugeotturkey.com/forum_posts.asp?tıd=24084&kw=audio+system&title=audio-system-incelemem-video-ekl was
http://forum.peugeotturkey.com/forum_posts.asp?tıd=26302&kw=teyp+sd+kart&title=206-iin-ucuz-yollu-teyp

But very expensive transactions. If you have a mobile phone or mp3 player that can play music, the cheapest method is mentioned in this title. Just plug it in and steal it through the headphone jack! Smile

I also added the final picture and video to my first message. Thus, the title has been completed. I hope it was a stimulating title. Thanks to everyone who read.

It has been a useful study. Can such a thing be done in the RD4 tape recorder?

I really want to apply it to my own car to your labor, which has been a very successful and nice work.

Probably similar to the integration of RD3. It can be done. I can help if you open it and give the name of the integrated.
It has been a very successful and beautiful work. I want to apply health to my own car. When I plug in the mp3 player or phone, in which position do you listen to the tape from the aux `` to play them?
There is no aux in RD3. There are three options as radio, CD and CD changer. But we have no business with these. Because I can listen to mp3 even though the tape is off. Smile Although the tape seems closed, the audio circuits are actually working.
I did it too, but when skipping the song, I hear the reason why it sounds like patt. [/ QUOTE]
The clattering sound you say happens only in mine when plugging in and out. That is a normal thing. Those who are dealing with music systems know it, and when plugging the jack into the mixer or guitar amp, it has the same popping sound.

Otherwise, your problem may be in jacks or cable. Because the cables can blow out if the jacks are not soldered well or are old. In short, it makes the slightest disruption of contact .

Does the cable move when you take the phone to skip songs? If so, I would say check the cables or jacks again. Even the connections.

I did it, I pat, I heard a sound, then smell and smoke, I think the tape burned, I do not know how to find a solution anymore. Smile

Get well soon. I hope it is not something that cannot be repaired. It can also be a simple thing. Show it to a master. If the damaged part is integrated, it is possible to repair it with parts from tape of the same brand. Simple parts such as resistors and diodes are easy.

Meanwhile, I keep using it without any problems. Wink
