Hello everyone, I made aux input to the radio-cd player of my 2006 model 307 1.6 hdi. I explain what I have done step by step with the photos. First of all, the radio-cd player in my car is the RD4 BS5 N1 model produced by Blaupunkt for PSA. I don't use 5 CD changer, I only use it as a radio-cd player. It was annoying that the cd player only played audio cd. So I did research for aux input. I learned that although there is aux support in the radio-cd player, it is not activated. I went to the Peugeot authorized service and asked them to activate the aux input. They asked me 50 TL for this transaction. Of course I was a little angry. After that, they also solved the minor problems of my vehicle and tried to calm me by doing internal-external washing. Anyway, I describe the procedures I have done in order without further ado. I hope it works for those who have this problem. After activating the aux input, when we press the source button on the radio-cd player of the vehicle, radio, cd and input1 (aux) are displayed on the screen respectively. What we need next is a female 3.5 mm stereo jack, stereo audio cable (you can also get the cable ready with the jack pressed) and a socket for the aux input of the radio-cd player. The aux input of the radio-cd player actually consists of 3 pins, but I couldn't find a 3-pin socket on the market. In accordance with this, I used the USB socket used in the motherboards. I soldered the audio cable with Jack myself. I did not join the cable ends because I punctured the plastic piece on the bottom of the radio-cd player and connected it after passing the cable. The external stereo jackUsb motherboard socket, and the radio-cd player and the plastic part below before we start, we need to disconnect the radio-cd player to insert the socket into the aux input. To remove it, we need to insert metal rods into the 4 holes on the left and right sides. There are some sold in the market, but I used the copper electric cable by twisting it. When you insert and press them, you open the nails of the radio-cd player. We press the rods a little and pull the radio-cd player towards ourselves. It is a bit stiff and may not come right away. We remove the radio-cd player without much effort. In the lower plastic part, we remove it by paying attention to the nails on the right and left. The main socket on the back of the radio-cd player is as follows. 11. pins. The 4th pin I showed with red arrow is right in stereo sound, the 10th pin I showed with yellow arrow is left, and the 11 pin with the white arrow next to it is ground. We will need to pay attention to this while making our cable connections. We pull out the main socket of the radio-cd player by pressing the lower latch. Our current process is to make a hole for the female jack in the plastic part under the radio-cd player before making the cable connections. Since it is a soft plastic, you can even drill it with a screwdriver. We open the hole and mount the female jack on the plastic part. To fix the jack, you can stick it with silicone. After connecting the cable of the external jack and the usb socket correctly, we insert the usb socket into the aux input. Since the socket I use is 10-pin, I made the connections to the 4th pine right on the top row, 10th pine left on the bottom row and the 11th pine ground next to it. Then we plug it in the main socket, and the next thing is to connect the radio-cd player and the plastic part at the bottom after the cables are beautifully connected and taped together. When connecting the cables, I did not hold it too long. Because these vehicles can make noise over time, because the vehicles are subject to shock. After fixing the cables as much as possible, I replaced the radio-cd player and the plastic part. And our aux input is ready. What we need to do next is to take a male 3.5 mm stereo cable with two ends and connect it to an mp3 player, mobile phone, and so on. Come easy. Good driving. crysantem2012-05-14 13:08:00

Ever since we bought the car. But I couldn't find a proper Turkish source. Thank you for your efforts. I will apply it at the first opportunity.

But 50 TL was too much for activation. They do this by connecting the computer from the obd port and using the PP2000 or its derivative, right? I think those who make music installations cannot be active. I need to have the machine connected and switched on in a special place, I hope they can find it.

I think it will not be necessary if they play mp3 from CD. I see pictures of RD4 that can play mp3. But when I bought the car, maybe I looked at thirty 307, I did not come across any mp3. It was not even in the latest premium models. I think it's interesting that there aren't many fields available on demand. Or very few came. Friends who get zero may remember and give information.

Good working health. In places where the radio does not shoot, we can connect the iPhone and listen to the radio over the internet. And we don't have to take the phone to the ear while talking.
There's a 5-cd cd changer in my car. Will it happen to him too?

Thank you guys for your answers.
It is a good application to your hand. I will have a question. If you have any information, I would be glad if you can transmit this application in 2003 307 cassette player. com / forum_posts.asp? TID = 8620 & title = rb3-nits-aux-giri-yapm Aux application is available for the RB3 models you mentioned.
It's been in my mind since we bought the car. But I couldn't find a proper Turkish source. Thank you for your efforts. I will apply it at the first opportunity. But 50 TL was too much for activation. They do this by connecting the computer from the obd port and using the PP2000 or its derivative, right? I think those who make music installations cannot be active. I think it's interesting that there aren't many fields available on demand. Or very few came. Friends who get zero may remember and give information. [/ QUOTE] eeccaa, I don't know if activation is done outside the authorized service. I told them that they have a lot of money, after all, when buying this vehicle, there is aux support on the radio-cd player, they don't just attach an apparatus, they just connect the computer and activate the aux and the price is high. But it didn't work. I think it would be nice to play mp3 from CD intentionally, but my main concern was listening to the radio on the internet with iPhone. That's why I have never been in search of a radio-cd player with mp3.
Good working health. In places where the radio does not shoot, we can connect the iPhone and listen to the radio over the internet. And we don't need to take the phone to the ear while talking. Will it happen to him? [/ QUOTE] Celalll, my primary goal was already listening to the radio on the iPhone. I also installed a navigation application, I listen to its sounds on the radio-cd player and as you said, there is no need to bring the phone to the ear while driving :) If the radio-cd player is RD4 model, the 5-cd changer inputs are not in the same place with the aux input. Aux inputs are on the lower left called Part B. Cd changer is the lower right pins called Part C. So it also happens to your vehicle. crysantem2012-05-19 23:11:44

Can the same work be done for the following type of CD player with tape player in 2003 xs?
Can this same Cd player tape type found in 2003 xs be used for the same study, anyone knowing? [/ QUOTE]

The model you mentioned should be the RD3 model. I think there is no aux input on the back of that model. There is only cd-changer input.

They opened the aux input by opening the inside of the radio-cd player in the link here.

However, my vehicle has an original tape with a cassette player on 2004 model 307.

as linte shows 18-19-20 on the back of the tape. If I connect a 3.5mm jack to the inputs, that is, from the output of the cd-changer, to the back of the tape, would I get sound directly. Is it necessary to do something like activating aux so that the cd-changer was working before it broke down ???
