Hello friends,

Most people have heard of the screened lens event. This type of lens, which is widely used by brands such as Audi-Mercedes and BMW, is a lens attached to a curtain with a solenoid placed in the headlight. In these lenses, instead of distributing the light in many ways, there is a tendency to collect the light into a specific orbit with the help of the lens.

Along with the classical lens structure, the curtain provides a transition from short to long beam in an instant.

It is possible to make the low and high beam with the same lens and the same bulb.

There is a special bulb type 9012 (HIR2) in the vehicle. It is a type generally used by the Japanese and it is not in the market. Since the foot structure of the bulbs was very similar to 9006, I immediately ordered and tried sometime, but as I guess, one tooth of the foot came short and the bulb did not fit properly. His being swept pushed me back. Now I have found 9012 and ordered. Again, 55w but 6000K is a very serious enlightenment.

A video from my little 9006 test ...
