H4 (long-short together) 106 GTI is the original Headlight H4. H4-4 headlight system can be applied to vehicles with H4 type headlight system. In this system, you can operate your high and low beam separately. In the H4-4 headlight system, long and short lights are obtained separately from the 2 separate bulbs in the bulb housing. The H4-4 xenon headlight system consists of 4 ballasts (brains), 2 + 2 4 bulbs. The 106 GTI Fog Lights should be H1.
