I used 307 and 407 in the past, they did not have protection plates under the engine, neither did the new 308. I don't know why they don't put it, but I got it at the velasil service, I paid 3250 TL, it was too much. I think it could be outsourced as well. Keep in mind, I did it, you don't.

I have used both 307 and 407. Both had bodyguards. Maybe they didn't remove the ones you used and put them back in time?
