Hello friends, my 2017 partner has reached 105,000 km. I read an article about checking the DPF fluid. The booklet says it should be checked at 90,000 km, but I just checked it. I do my own oil maintenance on my car. By oil, I do a lot of maintenance myself. I even serviced the undercarriage the other day. The car has become very pleasant. Anyway, let's get back to the main topic. Under normal conditions, when the DPF is low or depleted, it warns with a light. Anyway, I had a free day and checked it by removing the reservoir from the front of the right rear wheel. Actually, a suitable test device shows the amount of fluid, etc., but since such a device and software is not available, adding fluid before it runs out will prevent this. Since my car is one of the latest HDI models, I didn't find a bag shaped like a blood bag. It has a unit with a closed tank with a normal pump. Anyway, I checked it. When I shook it, it was quite light. It was obvious that the fluid inside was very low. Then I went to the dealer with my other car. I bought the appropriate fluid in a 1-liter bottle called Eolsy for around 500 TL and used it in my car. The capacity on the tank was written as 1.07 lt. I took the initiative and added 750 ml. It was almost full. The process is very simple and there is a situation where you have to connect it to a PC after the fluid is completely drained to reset it. However, if you fill it up before it runs out, such a situation does not occur. I think at least the latest HDI models have encountered such problems and problems. As far as I know, DPF fluid is an indispensable fluid for the vehicle's particle filter. Thanks to this fluid, the vehicle cleans the DPF at certain intervals. I have never had any DPF-related problems in my vehicle. While many commercial vehicles used in the city for a long time experience DPF problems after 50-60 thousand km, this is not unique to Peugeot of course.
