Hello, I'm new among you guys. 2 months ago, I bought a 307 XS 1.6 SEMI AUTOMATIC PETROL AND LPG 2004 model car. This is the first time I bought a pejo and the first time I bought a semi-automatic car. My question to you is: the vehicle is self-braking. So, for example, where I need to slow down, even if I pull my foot out of the gas or press the brake to slow down, it self-brakes. Of course, shaking occurs at that time. I always drive the car automatically. Thinking logically, it seems normal when the car slows down, but it bothers me a lot. So imagine that a beginner is a driver, he does not press the brake slowly, but suddenly he sticks to the windshield on the back seat. of course it is not so violent, but still annoying. I had a kia sorento fully automatic jeep before, I never had a problem like that. probably because it was fully automatic. So is this normal or do you think this is a problem? Because the engine brakes unnecessarily, I think the car is overloaded so it can cause trouble.

First of all, welcome to us. If the vehicle you are talking about is not semi-automatic, it is fully automatic. These transmissions have chronic problems.

Yes, your vehicle is a manual fully automatic gearbox.
Gears down in two or three cases. According to the user's manual, when you pull your foot out of the gas, you can detect it, when you drop the gear or take over the gas while overtaking, when the brake is applied.
But if he does it in any case, either the accelerator pedal position sensor, etc. if any, he should look at him or the brake sensor is malfunctioning, sending the wrong signal to the brain and sending the message. Gears down in the car.

You said it was full automatic, but not. The vehicle is semi-automatic. Because if desired, it can be used manually as 1-2-3-4 when the gear is shifted to the left. of course i never use it manually

not in any case. it only slows down when I apply the brakes or pull the gas off my feet. So is this normal or should I go to industry?

On the other hand, semi-automatic gears are produced by automobile manufacturers more than full automatic gear. It is preferred because it is cheaper in terms of cost. In fact, the semi-automatic gearbox and manual gearbox are the same. Both of them use a press pad system. In manual gear, you press the clutch from above and change gears, while in semi-automatic gear, this operation makes 2 gear robots.

Your vehicle is equipped with torque convector, and the gear shifts are provided with valves in the hydraulic block. In fact, your vehicles are equipped with manual triptronic gear. Today, there is the possibility of manual use in many fully automated vehicles.

Thank you for informing my teacher. So does this mean that it's normal for the engine to self-brake when the vehicle is slowing down?

You are welcome, teacher, the engine brake should not be normal, the brake sensor might be defective. You need to connect the vehicle to the computer and have a malfunction code checked. First of all, I recommend you change the brake sensor, I recommend you to have a cheap piece of original around 30-40 TL.

thanks. I took it to pejo service in industry today. I told the master about the situation. He used the car, tested it, and MashaAllah said he had nothing to do. because it slowed down when it slowed down, it was normal. I was relieved. I didn't even feel it on the side seat anyway :) when I was in the seat of the driver, the person gets pimpy. I wanted to inform the friends who have such a question.

So when you look at your saying, I thought there was something in the car .. you wrote as if it was a beginner .. every car has its own good .. I switched from auto polo to 307. According to him, it sounded very good ... it means that the previous vehicle has a different character ... you will get used to it over time .. the event you say becomes very noticeable when the car is cold.
