If you are going to use an open air filter, you need to extend the filter to a place where it can come in contact with the cold, away from the engine, inside the hood. There are many kits on the market or you can handle this by buying assembly tools. If you can install it in the right place and provide cold air. It contributes 2-3 horsepower, I recommend simota, kn or aem brand filters. But as I said, if you cannot install a nice feeding system, you will not get any performance, even traction will decrease and fuel consumption will increase.
