Hello friends,

I have a Peugeot 406 1.8 SR 2002 model vehicle. I've been riding for 1.5 years.
However, there is a situation that I haven't been able to solve for about 1 year.

There is no problem when the vehicle is driving on LPG. Whether it's long distances, in the city, I ride without any problems. I've traveled 6,000 km, thank goodness, it didn't let me down even once.

The vehicle has never been in the situation of working hard or running late, it always works at a single start.

But when the vehicle is on gas, the vehicle misfires at idle, it gets better after a while.
This happens more when the car is cold. It decreases when the vehicle warms up, but it continues to do so at regular intervals.

It does this occasionally at high revs while on the road. The vehicle suddenly starts not to eat gas, it is as if they are pulling the vehicle from behind, then suddenly it eats gas and the vehicle is thrown.

This has never happened in LPG. Because of this, I always have to warm up the vehicle a little at first start-up, switch it to LPG and then move on. she doesn't want to. Those who are interested may be because of this or that, they don't want to get involved in this business by intimidating me with the expense in case you pay for a car if you change them all.

According to the information I got from the internet, I had the following operations done on my own initiative:

-The gasoline pump is new. anyway, I bought an original German made petrol pump for 850 TL.
-There may be an electrical problem in the injectors, they said that someone might not be working, I took it to an auto electrician, had it checked, they said there was no problem.
-I changed the gasoline return valve (canister valve).< /div>
-They said it might be caused by the brain, I took it to the brain specialist, I explained the situation, if there is a situation with the brain, it either never works or always works, it cannot be a brain-related situation, they said they should not take your money for nothing, they sent me.
< div>
I'm asking for help from friends who have knowledge and experience on the subject.
Is there anything that can be done and done, if anyone has a similar situation, I'm waiting for you to share.< /div>

A leak in the LPG regulator or injectors can disrupt the settings in the gasoline.

Close the LPG system completely from the valve.
Run until the gas in the pipes runs out.
Then use only gasoline for a week or two on gasoline. In the meantime, change the fuel filter and add additives to the tank. Observe for any change.
Everything that can be done by gasoline has already been done. I don't think it will be a brain.

Probably one of the fuel injectors is letting out more water. Since it is not used, it cannot cool down and is exposed to high heat, so I reset all 4 injectors in turn.
A less likely source is the lpg ecu. Vehicle injectors go through lpg ecu. The petrol injectors are closed with the relays in the ecu, but the engine ecu still thinks that the injectors are connected and working through the resistors in the ecu. If there is a problem with the contacts of the injector relays in the LPG ecu, the connection of the gasoline injectors may cause problems.

Thanks for your answer. I changed the fuel filter a month ago. Also, when I first bought the vehicle, I changed the LPG Brain because it was too late to switch to gas. Then it might be one of the LPG injectors, so I'll change it as it's not a big number. The old DIY of the lpg ci injectors I went to before had warned. Maybe if they are leaking, it may be disrupting the operation of the vehicle, as you said.

I meant the gasoline injectors because after the LPG injectors are not overfilled and the LPG is turned off, even if the LPG injectors leak, the remaining LPG in the pipes will have little effect after a while. If the lpg injector is leaking, the most common symptom is difficult starting at the first start, where the gas accumulated after 1-2 cranks ends, this problem disappears. turn off the valve on it) then loosen the hose going from the lpg regulator to the lpg injector block and discharge the remaining gas in the system and see how it works in gasoline. It may be different, but if there is a leak in the air manifold, this can disrupt the idle and even the gas eating condition. Also make sure that all hoses and sensors connected to the manifold do not cause air leakage (brake servo hose, lpg map sensor hose, gasoline and lpg injector connection points (when working on gasoline, pour water slightly to the bottom of the gasoline injectors if the sound of the engine changes, air is leaking from there, and drying orings) because of))

Don't change it right away, first turn it off from the tank and use it in gasoline for at least 1 week

recommend changing the injectors as a set. This possibility is nothing, if he connects it to the computer, he sees the injectors and makes comments from there. you best find a decent Peugeot master near you.

Thanks for your answers, first of all I will try to turn off lpg as you said. If it is not resolved, I will have the gasoline injectors checked again.
I had it connected to the computer a few times before, but there were a few malfunctions such as oxygen sensor failure, ignition failure, cylinder failure. I guess what exactly is happening is not understood from the fault codes, or the masters do not understand.
There is already a master problem in these vehicles. Even while I was getting the injectors checked, I went to a familiar place so he wouldn't turn me away. He even started by warning from the beginning that `the injectors of these vehicles wear out over time, they can be left in our hands while dismantling'. Places I don't know, I have a job, I'm very busy, they made up something like come next week.

It's not a lie, my vehicle is 2002 model, especially plastic parts sometimes get stuck in your hand. thoroughly rotten with age. Now it's time to change tools, not a single piece in our vehicles.

Gasoline Injectors do not break easily, but there are two o-rings or gaskets in the injectors. Those gaskets lose their properties over time. It does not hold order when disassembled.
A good master takes out the injectors. He puts a cardboard in front of him and starts it and checks it visually. If they are solid, buy these orings from the industry for 30 40 liras and renew them.
Get these yourself. Otherwise, the injector will ask for 150 200 liras as a repair kit. I changed it myself.
