Hi;
I just joined you, greet everyone.

Peugeot 2004 model 2.0 executive automatic transmission (KM159.0000) I encounter PRND "gearbox fault " error on my gasoline car, this error gives when the engine is cold or not at all, it is also on the slightly sloping road when it is cold, and then the gear is not in any way changed, start the vehicle. When it stops, it gets better. No traction, no shifting, no knocking.

Today I went to the authorized service and special services.

The authorized service connected it to the pc and said that it was caused by oil pressure and that the solenoid valve would change, and after getting the car in service, they checked the fire and said that the gearbox should come down (there was a burr in it but they did not show me this). So they talked about revision.

I changed luck oil 2 months ago.

Then I showed it to two different transmissions in Kartal.

The first service reported that the Solenoid valves should be replaced and said the average cost would be 700 TL. He said that if you make a revision, anything from A to Z will be up to 3500 rubles.

Secondly, he said the same thing in the service and stated that this problem is from the solenoid valve, when the vehicle is cold and that its valves will change, that the brain will be cleaned and maintained and that this one will not encounter this error, and the same price, ie 700 TL cost.

Have you ever encountered this problem or what is your advice because of the situation I mentioned above. What should we not do because of this situation, I love my car, but it is not my mind when thinking about selling.

Best regards.

Hi
welcome to the forum.

you can do a few manual tests,
First of all, do the following tests, stand on an average steep ramp and pull your foot off the brake to make sure the vehicle is scrolling back.

to check the traction effect of the transmission
front tires stand right in front of a treadmill and start crossing the tread for low traction. The vehicle should normally be able to overcome the bump if it requires extra gas, there is a problem with the traction, or in a suitable environment, the hand brake is not too much 1 - 2 clicks, apply it slowly, observe the reaction of the vehicle.

observe the times in the gear changes
Each gear shift should never exceed 3 seconds, especially when doing D-R RD,

In addition, since the air will cool down even more, when you start the car in the mornings and use the vehicle for a while, use the vehicle softly, and when you reach the level where the engine temperature should be, your gear shifts will be better as the transmission oil will get hot.
While doing all this, if your vehicle is LPG, test it in gasoline will give better results.

Finally, if it starts to feel gears, if there is low traction, if it shifts back on the ramps, negotiate with the authorized service to the authorized service.

Thank you for the support of mami202.
I have tried all the transactions you mentioned before and I have not encountered a negative situation.
Lastly, I visited 4 automatic gearbox repair shops and explained my problem and the problem they all mentioned is the same, solenoid valve problem.
As of yesterday, I changed the solenoid valve and oil. There are 2 solenoid valves in the gearbox, and I made the pair and oil change as 600 TL.
As a result of the test I did, I did not use the vehicle for 3-4 hours and when I passed through the places where it was damaged (on a steep slope), I did not encounter any malfunction, but I hope I will not encounter this malfunction in the mornings.
Accident-free and pleasant driving for everyone.

Get well soon. Insha'Am, it doesn't bother any more,

as long as you are a little cautious in very cold and very hot weather, the transmission will allow you to travel even longer without problems,

I am saying this for the purpose of reminding, you already know,

When you want to use sports and snow mode, you can select the desired mode after turning off the ESP system before activating,

When parking the vehicle in one hand, pull the handbrake and put the gearbox into idle after putting all the load on the pads.
