Friends, as you know, 1.4 hdi turbo and 2007 models have turbo cooling only with oil, no intercooler. I have a question on my mind.
From the moment we start the vehicle, the oil pump pushes the oil in the crankcase to the engine and turbo with the power it receives from the belt. In this way, lubrication is provided as well as turbo cooling. As far as I know there is an oil switch. But does this oil sensor control how many bars of oil should be pumped at which revolution? For example, if the turbo is left without oil or if it is not lubricated enough, is there a contact that checks it? In other words, if the turbo oil pipe is clogged, will we understand this when the turbo breaks down and costs are incurred. |

There is an oil sensor that measures the oil pressure for the engine, but I know that there is no such thing as a turbocharger. In other words, only the part that goes to the turbo does not give a warning. Other sensors measure the air pressure of the turbo.

Well, if the oil pipe of the turbo is completely clogged and left without oil, how long will it last without deterioration. For example, I wonder if it should deteriorate directly from overheating when traveling a long distance of at least 50 km or if it will run this way for a while. Especially if a short distance rider can't notice this and only take the turbo on the long road? |

If it does not manage, it will immediately break down. Because it revs too high. I don't think it can last without oil. The shaft starts to wear out and make noise.

When I started it in the morning, the turbo started making a strange noise, it could be heard from the whole neighborhood :) I went to my master immediately and when I went there, the sound was reduced by half, but the obvious whistling sound was making the shop groan. The master said whether it was from the exhaust, etc. He took it to the exhaust shop. The exhauster looked at the car from the bottom and said that there is no exhaust, it's a straight pipe :) The master can't understand how it is from a turbo, he was someone I preferred for a long time, and I was surprised by the way. Anyway, the turbo has been balanced, the sound is from him, he said, let's remove it and send it to the turbocharger. I said stay for now. When using it for 2 days, the sound has decreased a lot, if you listen very carefully now, I can hear very little from deep with the windows open in 1st gear. You can't even hear it if you're not paying attention. Now, what I don't understand is how the sound that made the whole place go that morning. If the turbo was broken, it didn't fix again. When I searched the net a bit, if there are tears in the hoses, it can also do it. The master never checked the hoses. I removed the hose going to the turbo today to check the turbo shaft. There is no play in the shaft, but there was about a teaspoon of oil in front of the turbo shaft. In the hose I took out, oil comes out when you clean it up to 1 teaspoon. Black oil in liquid form, not soot. I don't know if it's that normal or if the turbo pumps some oil. I cleaned it and attached the hose nicely. I drove 60 km, when I looked again the next day, there was still 1 teaspoon of oil. Where I am, the masters cannot look comprehensively and make a good analysis. That's why I have to research myself first to find the right fault. Otherwise, they replace the non-defective part and leave the defective one for last :) I wrote a bit long, but :)
