About Ignition Second Circuit Malfunction

Faults and remedies that may occur in the ignition second circuit:

1- Spark plug cable ends are dirty and cleaned.

2- The insulator of the cables is hardened or cracked, it is replaced with a new one.

3- The ignition coil is weak or does not work, it is replaced.

4- There is wetness on ignition coil, cables, distributor cover, spark plug porcelain or inside distributor, wetness is wiped and dried.

5- The spark plug types used are not suitable for the engine, look at the spark plug ruler.

6- The distributor cap is cracked or the carbon (coal) in the middle of the cap is burned, the cap is replaced.

7- The insulators of the spark plug cables are thin. Or the firing order is wrong, the cables are replaced and aligned in the firing order. The catalog is used for the firing order.

8- Spark plugs are broken, dirty or wet. Porcelain is cracked, nail gaps are broken, cracked spark plugs are replaced, dirty ones are cleaned, adjusted, and a lighter control is performed under pressure.

9- Distributor spool spring is bent or broken, the spool is replaced.

10- Distributor reel makes chassis, it is replaced.

11- The contact of the tip inside the middle tower of the distributor cap to the coal is cut, it is repaired.

12- The interference holder in the distributor cover is burned or broken, it is removed or the cover is replaced with a new one.

If the fault is in the battery:

1- The battery is discharged, it is charged.

2- Polar beans and clamps are dirty or loose, cleaned and compacted. To prevent the sulfate formation, some petroleum jelly is applied on them.

3- The battery is incorrectly ground, the right end is connected to the ground. When the cables connected to the pol head of the battery are kept close to each other in a glass of brine, the tip that causes the bubble is (-).

4- Battery cables are thinner or worn out as needed, and replaced with new ones.

In the Fault Starter motor:

1- Starter motor does not turn the motor fast enough.

2- The engine is used with very thick oil or the oil has become thicker, the engine oil must be replaced with the appropriate oil.

3- Starter pinion gear strikes the flywheel gears, flywheel gear, or pawn gear drive device is broken. It is repaired. In this case, the vehicle can be started by pushing.

4- The starter switch is broken, it is repaired or replaced.

5- The starter safety device is defective in vehicles with automatic transmission. It is repaired and adjusted.
