The solenoid valve of my car is a new type valve. But recently (for 2-3 months), in cold weather, especially on the ramp exits, my car has been giving the "faulty gearbox" error and its traction has decreased. I can extinguish the malfunction lamp by pulling it back and starting the vehicle again. I have done a lot of research on this error code. Generally, it is said that electro valves need to be replaced. But my vehicle is a vane case and electro valves are new type valves, what I wonder is: Even if the new type valves are, my electro valves may be broken and they may not be able to adjust the oil pressure? New type-old type does not matter, can my valves also fail? the reason for asking this is that those who recommend valve replacement say "your valves are old type, have new type installed and introduce them to the vehicle with software". Mine is already new type, could it still be broken?
The vehicle is in my signature.
