Hello friends,

I am new to you. I own a 2013 model 508 diesel automatic vehicle. First of all, I have used many brands and models of vehicles before and 508 really has a superior and satisfying structure in many subjects, but if the experienced staff helps in the following subjects, I would be very pleased; (Sorry if similar topic has been opened before)

  • Do you change the gear from A to N when you stop at the red light in urban use?
  • In very heavy traffic (such as Istanbul bridge traffic.) Do you make the shift A - N - A in the same way when you stop and start at 20 to 40 seconds intervals?
  • When you make a stop and stop with a half meter interval in a downhill traffic, would you take the car directly to the N position and lower the car by pulling your foot on the brake?
  • Generally, when the downhill vehicle starts to accelerate, there is a little delay in automatically shifting from 2nd gear to 3rd gear, and the car is contracting.
  • Finally, does using the vehicle continuously in sport mode cause transmission difficulties in the future?
Thank you very much in advance for your answers. It was a little too detailed, but a little ignorant of the semi-automatic transmission :)

I did not use 508, but I am using the automatic tool for a long time.
While waiting at the lights, you can get N for at least 30 40 seconds.
But do not buy n while you stop and stop in traffic. As soon as it plays too much, the chances of the gear position switch to malfunction increase.

If you will definitely go even 1 meter. Do not take n on the move.

It is not a problem to change the gear manually with f1.

Continuous use with Sport mod will hurt your pocket. The vehicle burns too much as it will change gears late. The transmission will wear out more.

The most robust information is written in the user manual of the tools. I recommend you to read.

Thank you because you answered in detail, did you make a slight jitter while the vehicle was running at idle? There may be several reasons for this, but have you solved such a problem before?

Probably an engine related situation because there is no load in the n transmission. There could be many reasons, from engine oil to engine ear, fuel quality to the exhaust system.

First of all, welcome to us. As for the answers to your questions

1-If it is too long, it will not be a problem if you bring it from a to n during 60-70 sec side swings. Unfortunately, the vehicles are designed with these considerations in mind.
2-If you always play in very heavy traffic, you will tire the gearbox. You will shorten the life of your printing pad even more.
3- If you say why I do not do it, you will shift the vehicle when you get up to 40-50 km speed when the car speeds up a little and the traffic will be undecided. it may cause knock or other problem.
4-This situation usually causes the engine to brake, as the gearbox is on the load, and at low speeds, for example, if you load the gas, the gear changes will be more comfortable. It does not cause any problems in using f1.
5-Shamanma does not cause shortage, but increases your fuel perfection.
6-If the engine is running too jerky and vibration is too much, have the ears of the engine and check the gearbox.

Thank you, teacher, first of all, thank you very much, as I used the tool for your detailed answers and started to get used to it, I started to understand the issues you mentioned in the answers. There was no vibration, but it was running a bit jerky, and when we had it maintained, the jerk disappeared. I have one more question, but is it normal for the rpm to be close to 1 when the vehicle is parked and the gear is in the N position? So it stands on an indicator like 0.8

At the first start, my normal teacher falls down after a certain period of time, that is, when the engine gets hot. no problem

Thanks again, teacher, I do not know if it is correct to open this topic here, but I would be very pleased if friends with a small experience help. When I idle from the vehicle, sometimes 10 seconds after working, and sometimes when changing gears in traffic, I hear such a subtle voice lasting 3 - 5 seconds (a subtle voice like a bionic robot voice) I wonder if this is normal or whether such a sound never comes do you need? Thanks a lot for your answers ..
