About 106 GTI / S16

Friends, GTI / S16 class vehicles start with the first production of 97 years of traffic, and are processed as 98 models for the license. If I'm not mistaken, it first got the name S16 class. Then S16 was removed and replaced with the GTI class. A friend whom I met on the internet the other day made an interesting statement to me. He also has a 106 GTI. The vehicle is out of traffic in December of 96 .. So 97 models are talking about a 106 ... I told the friend that it was not a 106 GTI / S16 class vehicle before the 98 model that it might have been misprocessed to the license due to the defect of the processor ... 96 S16 I have never heard of.

Have you ever seen that a vehicle was produced with the same make-up for 6 years? There is no need to even open the discussion. It started in 97 and ended in 5 years, in 2002 ..
