Hello friends, I've been following this forum for a while. From what I've seen, many people are having the same problem. I have a 1999 Peugeot 206, automatic transmission, gasoline, LPG. When my car is cold, it turns on the snow mode, especially the sport mode lights. Turning the ignition off and on fixes it. This problem used to happen occasionally, but now it's become more frequent. I consulted a few places and even had it connected to a computer to get the error code. However, they said the transmission may need to be overhauled. I don't think my car needs an overhaul because when it's not giving an error, there are no problems with driving, shifting gears, etc. I just started getting the error frequently. I live in Izmir. Can you recommend a good mechanic in Izmir who can replace the solenoid valves and transmission position switch? I kindly ask for your help in this matter. This is my first time opening a thread on the forum, so please forgive me if I've done anything wrong.

I have the same problem and I'm thinking of replacing the pressure sensor.

I had it checked today at the Izmir automatic transmission service in Bornova 2nd Auto Industry. Master Ramazan was helpful. I'd asked elsewhere, but they'd said it needed to be overhauled. The solenoid valves and pressure sensor were replaced without the overhaul. There doesn't seem to be a problem yet, but I think I'll be able to give a more definitive answer after using it for a few days.

I'm having the same problem. My 2001 model needs an oil and solenoid valve change this week. The vehicle is shifting to 4th gear. I'll get back to you after that.

It's very good, I'm glad there's no need for a revision. What's the price?

I wonder how the developments are going, has it been fixed and what was the total fee you paid?

I haven't had any problems since it was installed. Gear shifting is excellent now. The car's hill performance has also improved. I paid a total of 15,000. It could be done cheaper using aftermarket parts, but I didn't choose that option.

Hello again, friends. I'll be returning my car to İkitelli Sanayi this morning. My mechanic has 35 years of experience at an authorized Peugeot service center. When I told him about the problem, he told me to order enough transmission fluid and two solenoid valves and then return the car to him. I'll get back to you, but I don't know how long it will take to fix the problem. He said that 206s should have their transmission fluid changed after 150,000 km.

I contacted the transmission service about this issue, they connected it to the computer and informed me, the problem was the accelerator pedal potentiometer, they said replace it and it will be fixed, I erased the error, it did not give another error with the original software, also there was a small misfire in the engine, it was again protecting the transmission.
