What is the difference between friends. I'm getting 95 to my car. What would be the difference if I bought 97?

Gazi University Automotive Department Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Yakup İçingür stated that the increase in the octane number in gasoline is related to the increase in the compression ratio in the engine. Among the important part of the engine is in the car used in Turkey emphasized that the compression ratio of 9-10 İçingür, said: "engines with compression ratios between 9-10 95 octane fuel, can provide vuruntusuz work. There is absolutely no need for 97 octane fuel. In cars with a compression ratio of more than 10, using 95 octane fuel may cause knock. Since the compression ratio of the vehicles in our country is between 9-10, there is no point in purchasing 97 octane fuel for these cars. ” Expressing that the engines with compression ratios above 10 are found in certain luxury models, “This ratio is very very low in general. 97 octane fuel, 9-10 compression ratios do not damage vehicles but they do not provide benefits either. Many people prefer 97 octane because it protects the engine and improves performance. 97 octane unleaded gasoline does not increase performance, decrease fuel or protect the engine. That's why 95 octane gasoline is the best, except for certain luxury models. It is cheaper than the other. ”

Certainly, more knowledgeable friends will give more explanatory information on the subject. The fuel must be used according to the compression ratios of the vehicles, as the friend says, the compression ratio of 9-10 range makes 95 octane sufficient for many vehicles in the country. I have questioned this issue before and I did some research. I have been using shell 95 octane for a long time in my vehicle and advance knocks have increased a lot recently. Then, when I looked at the technical data of 307, I read the compression ratio as 11 (if I know it wrong, interested friends will correct it.) So I changed both my gasoline and my gasoline :)), Currently a total of 97 octane excell. I use um, the knock sound has decreased a lot but I am still listening.

I was using 97, then I switched to 95, and I didn't see a difference. Fuel consumption is the same ...

I would like to comment with the straight man logic on the street because it would be produced with 99 octane if it was a good thing "Big

Friends, there is no gasoline of 97 octane. It is something fueled by fuel companies. There is a gasoline used in these 95 standard vehicles and there is 100 octane.

I thought it was unnecessary for me, but I decided to try it with the encouragement of my master. I have been getting shell97 several times and believe it is noticeable. especially when climbing uphill, the vehicle that was cut out of the breath is not being cut anymore .. I think the engine noise has decreased considerably. . I haven't been able to test it for now, but now I think 97 is absolutely different from 95.

lukoil lifted 97 octane pumps at some stations. There are also 97 octane sales in many oil stations. If 97 octane were required, many oil stations would remove 95 and sell 97.

I'm using 95 octane I'm glad a few cents & nbsp; It is not worth going out of our vehicles' usage procedures, if you ask those pumpers there is no difference, but it will surely be.
