Hello friends, my car is 2006 model 407 2.0hdi executive premium otm gear. At 1,20000 km .. I am encountering the last 20000km steering failure. In long-term city use, the steering becomes increasingly heavy, and eventually the fault lamp comes on as a "reinforced steering fault" power steering fault. The steering gets very stiff, it gets better when the ignition is turned off and on, but then it repeats. It gets better after waiting for a few hours.

First, I replaced Maxi fuse with 80a. The steering has become too soft but the fault has not changed.
The service pump said it was faulty .. I also installed the electronic part of the pump of another vehicle into my own vehicle and tried it again, after a while .. it did not fail ..

Steering fluid has changed with the original. The battery has changed.

No oil reduction .. only while standing or at 10-15 km speeds ..

Are there any people who face this situation or have solutions? Thanks in advance ..

The mechanical part of the pump that comes to my mind is having trouble and the electronic circuit may stop the pump when the pump gets too hot.

When my pump broke down, we replaced the electronic board. The sound of the pump seemed to be difficult after the repair. It works fine for now, but when the master put the pump back into the car and started it, the pump was crying, it was unclear when it would break, it was clear in the summer heat.

Before the failure, the sound of the pump changes and it becomes clear that it may be difficult. Can it be in the charger, the fuse relay or the fuse relay .. if it is an electrical problem ..

The price of the pump is about 1800tl..so I am looking for the problem elsewhere first ..

Of course, if the electrical voltage to the pump drops, the sound of the motor changes. If it falls too much, it will stop.

You can connect a voltmeter to the socket connected to the pump and follow the situation. Check the sockets for oxidation thoroughly.

Did you check the mosfet as the electronic card was changing?

As you said to have the most original original repaired or original, it is very expensive. I have 407 1.6 hdi in my neighbor. I had the same problem in it. I do not remember exactly 250-350 TL in summer. Of course, this kind of work is a bit of luck.

We did not check the oxidation in the sockets .. I do not know exactly what mosfet is, but we removed the electronic part and tested it in a setup, the servo motor is running and there is no oxide etc. on the card ..

I think the pump hydraulics in 1.6 hd. Is there a sub-industry in electricity backers, where can I find it? I live in Ankara.

The subcontractor said that he could attach the zero 106 pump to 307 and that there would be no problem.

Hello guys, the mechanical part of the pump has also changed, the alternator has been checked, the problem has not been solved yet .. is there anyone who can give an idea?

Hello it's an old subject but let me share the solution.

The car's steering pump has been completely replaced.

Let me explain why the repair is not as follows. The electronic part of the pump is exactly the same as part of brands like Renault. So when you get out, the commands are incompatible with the car and fail. This is my guess ..

If it happens to you, get the same code or zero pump.
