Hello friends, I changed the oil of my 407 vehicle by getting a total of 5/40 oil and diesel filters in the industry. Even if it is a little too much, I have reset the oil mileage after the oil change, but what is the reason why the missing oil lamp does not go out?

How many liters of oil the engine can take, and how many liters of oil did you put?

I read that the engine is getting 3.8, I also changed the diesel filter, I touched it with 4 lt. It was the same way before, I did not have a problem.

If the level in the dipstick looks complete, it is not dangerous. "Wink" But still If you want to have a check, reset it. (Disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes and insert.)

I also think that it will not cause problems in the engine, but it is annoying that it warns every time you run :)

My humble advice is the best choice for oil mobil 1 full synthetic :) a little expensive but the number 10 oil..I think if you ask your question, a good auto electrician seems to solve the situation

Not so of course

I changed the oil in the same way, it showed exactly everything was normal.
I parked the car on a slope. After 50-60 km he recovered and showed exactly.

For oil advice, I always look for the articles from peugeot doc backup program.

Could your service counter be blinking because it was not reset? To reset, press and hold the button on the screen that is on and off, and turn the ignition with the other hand. It will count down from 10 on the screen and & nbsp; When it is zero, your service counter will be reset.
