Hello everyone,

My 2007 model 407 1.6 hdi vehicle is now at 130000km and I had a water reduction problem for about 1 week. Every 2 days, water decreases about 1 finger from the level line of the water tank, but there was no trace of leakage from under the vehicle or visible areas. Since the circulation had just changed, I did not give him a chance, so I followed the way of the master. After the vehicle was completely cooled, compressed air was supplied to the tank and the relevant areas were checked. As a result, we determined that the leakage was caused by the deformation of the base where the thermostat block was attached to the engine. As the plastic block containing the thermostat is closed circuit, the thermostat and its sensor itself have to change completely, as you can imagine, even though there is no problem. After receiving the information that the supplier industry will not yield, I bought the thermostat block completely for 175TL after a hard bargain at prices ranging from 200-250 TL. We left the industry with labor at 50 TL. In my regular control for 3 days, the water reduction problem seems to have completely disappeared. I wanted to share the thermostat as I thought it would be useful if the friends who had similar reduction problems could not solve the problem from the parts that come to mind in the first place (such as circulation hoses). Good forums to everyone.

Thanks for the information, my nurse is already finished with a good master who will find a job problem. I came across the master who did not know the job after the nerves jumped.
