Hello friends. I opened the subject before, is my fuel consumption normal? I have personally tested it right now. I had an average consumption of 7.5 liters in Istanbul city with 215/55/17 Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires. I recently switched back to a 16 "rim. On the same route as the 205/60/16 Goodyear Efficentgrip performance tires, my average fuel consumption is around 6.5-6.7 liters.

It is interesting that 16 inches and 17 make such a difference. I thought half a liter would make a difference.

here, the brand of the wheels, the original / sub-industry conditions and the tire-free weights are also important,
I used a 16 "posche desing wheel in 206+, the supplier industry, the curb weight was around 9.5 kg, my average in Istanbul was around 8.7 - 9 lt,
Then I returned to 207 original 15 "rims, the curb weight was around 5.5 kg and it was around 6.7 lt for a very long time.

exactly the side industry and even the original rim makes the difference in fuel consumption

Yes, my wheels were Megatim brand, but before I bought it, it was 10.5kg, and I think the originals are around, rolling resistance etc. I don't know the effect. There is also the following factor: I used 215/55/17 tire for the 17 "rim in 407s , it has grown as 16mm as the tire diameter may have been different if I used 205/55/17 but my head is comfortable now.
