There is a water reduction problem in my vehicle that I noticed today. The reserve tank has reached the min line. I have antifreeze in the tank, I added pure water, I finished it. I shed light on the radiator side of the pipes on the thermostat side, I could not see any leakage. I handed the clamp parts of the pipe under the radiator by hand. Bone-dry. I shed light on the side of the thermostat, and I could not see a discharge or damp area in that part. There is no running water or antifreeze in the mop. Overheating is fixed at 90 after the vehicle warms up. I have not seen an imbalance in the temperature indicator. Even in congested Istanbul traffic, the temperature did not exceed 90. This shows that the fan and thermostat are working well. But this reduction has bored me. Can you cause it? |

I advise you to change the cover of the replacement water tank, although it seems to be intact, it may miss out over time.

I agree exactly, the gasket inside the cover loses its function over time. Also, if the lid gasket has lost its feature, the water in the reserve water tank will swell when the vehicle stops, stop the vehicle when the radiator water temperature is 90 or more, and remove the hood and observe the reserve water tank, whether the water overflows from the lid or condense on the lid. it was easy, it was not diminishing anymore
