My 308 t7 1.6 HDi diesel vehicle has been making a gurrrrr hurrrr sound for a few days, as heard in the video, around 1000 rpm. The sound goes away when the rpm increases or decreases. The sound is clearly heard at the 2nd and 29th seconds of the video. Those who use a 1.6 HDi know that this sound is not the standard sound of the engine. This sound occurs at exactly 1000 rpm in 1st and 2nd gear. Today I suspected the guard rail. I checked it with the mechanic on the lift. Some of the bolts were missing, we completed and secured them, but the sound continues. I'm starting to suspect the engine. What do you think it could be? I'd like to hear your experiences on this matter.
