Good evening everyone. I own a 2022 Peugeot 308. I love the car and am generally very happy with it, but something strange happened to me today. When I went to pick up my mother, I stopped the car (turned off the engine) and waited inside. Later, when my mother arrived, when I pressed the start-stop button to start the car, the car first gave me a warning saying "engine fault, stop the car, have the car repaired." I saw the warning, turned the car off and on again, thinking it would go away once I started it. However, as soon as I started the car, it started beeping on the screen with all the possible errors I could see, such as engine fault, ASR-ESP fault, gearbox fault, and battery fault. The engine also stuttered strangely, as if it had no power at all. Frankly, I was quite shocked, so I stopped the car, got out, locked the doors, and waited. After waiting for about 5-6 minutes, I restarted the car and managed to drive home without any errors. The only thing I noticed was that, even though it hadn't displayed any malfunction warnings, the ASR-ESP warning light remained on. The car has only 15,000 km on it, and I had its annual service done at the dealership just a month ago. I'm wondering why this error might be occurring, and whether these are permanent issues. If anyone has experienced this before and has any knowledge of the issue and can provide an answer, I'd be very grateful.
