Hi friends. I bought the RCZ instrument cluster and clock for my 2009 model 1.6 HDI. By researching foreign websites, I found the clock's 12V +, 12V -, Can Hi, and Can Low connection pins. I connected these to pin 1: 12V +, pin 3: 12V -, pin 4: Can Hi, pin 5: Can Low on the back of the stereo. I connected them to pin 12: 12V +, pin 16: 12V -, pin 10: Can Hi, pin 13: Can Low. There are two sockets on the RCZ instrument cluster. One is fully compatible with ours. The tachometer, odometer, and all the other lights work, but there's another socket for the matrix display in the middle, but it wasn't available on my car. I researched that too. I connected the instrument cluster outputs to pin 1: 12V +, pin 6: 12V -, pin 3: Can Hi, pin 2: Can Low, and the matrix display outputs to the information display on the stereo. But the result was failure. The RCZ clock was not compatible with the system. I went to two private service centers in Izmir and couldn't activate it even with a computer connection. Could the people who do it please help me? What did I miss or make a mistake?
Hello friends. I bought the instrument panel and clock of an RCZ for my 2009 model 1.6 HDI. By searching foreign sites, I found the connection pins of the clock: 12v +, 12v -, Can Hi and Can Low, as follows: pin 1 is 12v +, pin 3 is 12v -, pin 4 is Can Hi, pin 5 is Can Low, I connected these to pin 12 on the back of the radio as 12v +, pin 16 is 12v -, pin 10 is Can Hi, pin 13 is Can Low, then there are two sockets on the RCZ instrument panel, one of them is fully compatible with ours, the tachometer, speedometer, all the other lights are working, but there is another socket for the matrix screen in the middle, but it was not found in my car. I searched for that too, pin 1 is 12v +, pin 6 is 12v -, pin 3 is Can Hi, pin 2 is Can Low and I connected the instrument matrix screen outputs to the information screen on the radio. But the result was failure. The RCZ watch wasn't compatible with the system. I went to two specialized service centers in Izmir and couldn't activate it even with a computer connection. Could someone who has done this please help? What's missing or what I did wrong?
There's someone on YouTube who's one of the best I've seen on this subject. He's installed and used a full digital dial and the RCZ dials you mentioned on a T7 308. If you could contact me, we might be able to get some information. https://www.youtube.com/@mgnstyleflava
