Hello everyone, I want to share something that happened to me. We went to visit someone, and I had turned on the hazard lights thinking it would be a short visit, but it lasted a long time, and I forgot to turn them off. When I got back to the car, the battery was dead. Even with jump-starting, it wouldn't start; the starter motor would crank but wouldn't engage. We took it to an electrician we know, and he said he had erased the immobilizer code from the ECU. I suspect they re-uploaded the code, but it's a different model because when I turn the ignition, it gives an automatic headlight error, and my car doesn't have automatic headlights. The car is automatic, but no matter what position I put it in, it seems to be in "P" (parking) position, but there's no problem with the movement. The remote control doesn't work; it locks up. What are your thoughts? The car is a 2003 307 XT Premium.

When the battery dies, the ECU (BSI) gets messed up, like incorrect software has been installed. That's why it gives strange errors. The original software and key matching need to be done.
