Hi guys,
2004 model peuegot 307 XT the glass of my car that I have been using for about 4 years has cracked due to stone and I have changed the glass in the industry. After replacing the glass, the headlight and rain sensor failed. I activate the sensor but it does not turn off if I do not turn it off during the day. it works when the rain sensor is activated in the same way and it does not turn off if I do not turn it off. In the meantime, I will sell my car, I will change the window, because I will sell it. No problem with headlights and wipers, only the sensors are disabled. Is there an easy solution to this.
i need your support.
Thank you from now.

was the gel of the sensor re-glued when changing the glass?

Just as our friend said, they may not have applied the gel, just as they said.

says he's applying the gel. He looked again and tried very hard, but we couldn't. I had to take the car and come back. The place where I am located is the county (Sivas - Susehri). I took it to another electronics engineer friend in Sivas city center. he said it might be caused by gel or that the sensor should be replaced completely. I asked all the parts in the Sivas there is no sensor. They said that I could find it in Ankara, Istanbul. I'm waiting for your help, friends. Where can I find this gel?

There is also a problem with my gel. I turned it off from the display computer. The headlight is constantly lit like at night, it is always at the same speed in the rain. I don't mind anymore.

I don't think you can do it a little hard, my teacher. I don't think you can find it in the center of Sivas, maybe you can find the gel in your nearest sams.

Sivas leave the gel in the center, I asked the sensor, he doesn't even have it :)

teacher, the sensor is robust, auto glazers should have a gel, in the market, there are rain and headlight lights in a few vehicles.

Glass is the original or sub-industry? I know that the sensors do not work in the sub-industry glasses, it was necessary to install glass. (I know it myself, it might be different)

I also have a 2002 xt crack due to the stone bouncing from the front. it does not pose any obstacle, but its sound is of course sufficient as an image. I wanted to change the glass, which is a sub-industry, is suitable for price, but it goes without sensors, so the glasses that we can actively use are a little salty. so I gave up changing. In addition, the original glass has a feature like athermic against sun-harmful rays. This is not the case in the sub-industry. still a problem where you bought it.

Thank you for your interest.
probably the supplier industry. I said there was a crack because of the stone, I will change it because I will sell it. both the person to take it and not to bother. It was a problem. I wish I hadn't changed it. Although it is not a feature I use rain sensor or something, but still gets bored.

Sir, your headlight problem has nothing to do with the rain sensor. There is a tiny little ball light sensor right in front of the information display in front. It is the sensor that turns the automatic headlight on and off. It usually does when the socket comes out or malfunctions. If you pull out the information screen with your hand, you will see the socket of the sensor, take it out, check it, if it is plugged in, it will not detect daylight if there is a layer of oil or thick dust on top of the sensor.

when you move the right arm up one step, does it say auto wiping? If it does not write, there may be a malfunction in the arm. may need to be activated.

If it always works fast when typing, it does not press hard on the glass inside the sensor. or again the arm is malfunctioning. If you put the arm into auto mode to diagnose and water is constantly coming to the sensor part, play with the arm little by little, if it accelerates and works normally for a moment, your glass arm is definitely broken.
Another method is to apply pressure to the round sensor in the upper middle of the glass with your hand, and if it gets into auto mode and throw water on the glass, it does not hurt, but if it works quickly without even throwing water, the pad is not in full contact or the arm is defective again :)

The sensors were working and they stopped working after the glass replacement. As the glass changes, the arm is not broken.

I don't think there is a malfunction in the arm. The sensors stopped working when the glass changed.
When the rain sensor is activated, the wiper operates every 4-5 seconds. no acceleration or deceleration works hard. the headlight sensor is the same. When it is activated, it works even during the day. we turned to manual :) The glazier was also very busy and even two electronicists looked. I can not. I think it probably comes from the gel. there is no one here who can do it. electricity comes to the sensors. good luck now.

They said I did not know it as a light sensor, they said. But the fact that both of them made mistakes on the same day convinced me that both sensors were in the same place. I'll give it a try.

The headlight sensor and rain sensor were not on the glass. I thought they were both in the same place. When the glass broke down after change, I thought the two were in the same place. Let me look at the place you said ...
