I own 2004 model 307 1.4 HDI my car was at 230,000 and never saw the competition, however, in the weather I came for the work, in cold weather and only when I first run in the morning, the white smoke is exhausting from the exhaust and after about 30 seconds the smoke stops (depending on the weather, the colder the smoke comes out), and a friend who aspired to my car recently steep a long and long ramp. 3 people get on and test, compress the vehicle, and when they get out of the vehicle, open the oil cap (not the dipstick) and light white smoke comes out. When I called my master, he said it was normal, but when my friend called himself, he said the engine was over. No performance problems, all periodic maintenance is done regularly, chip in the vehicle, open air filter etc. No, I only used boron additive and I have carbon clean every 50,000. Experienced friends, you think; Is the engine dead? How many kilometers did the 1.4 HDI engine with the longest life you know? I always used my vehicle on the long road, I throw it in 5th gear, I go around 100-120 on average. Thank goodness he didn't say click until now, but these 2 issues in recent times have been shaking my head. thanks in advance for the answers. |

To give general information; white smoke is usually a sign of oil or water in the exhaust system. If the oil is smell of white smoke, there will be a smell of burnt oil. So where can this oil mix? It may be from the broken shaft of the turbo. First you need to test your scent. If it is water, when you lightly close the exhaust with your hand, your palm should be water vapor. You can also see that the level of coolant decreases. If it is tall, you can face serious gasket, cylinder head and block problems. Is there a decrease in your cooling water? I can say the presentation for the white smoke you meet in the morning. As you know, the glow plug is activated depending on the temperature. In other words, if the weather is very cold, the car uses the glow plug for the first start. Do you expect the glow plug mark to end on the screen during the first run? If you do not wait or if there is a problem with your spark plug, it will cause white smoke. |

There is no water reduction, while oil reduction is up to 1 lt per 10,000 km. There is no smell from the exhaust, I only smell intensive diesel. I wait for all the lights to go out before starting the car in the morning.

So, in the morning when you get this white smoke, does your car start immediately or does it start after a few tries?

[QUOTE = silverhand] I don't have any trouble with the starter, as I said before, I was in a hot climate in osmania, this problem started in cold weather in the march. [/ QUOTE] So, in my personal opinion, I can say the presentation that the smoke is just the fuel that comes from very cold air and is burned out without burning. Or one of the water ends: 1- Faulty spark plug 2- Low compression 3- bad injector nozzle |
