hi guys first;

I have 2004 1.6 16V 307 sw. If I need to briefly explain the temperature problem of the vehicle;

After the 5th gear 3000 revolutions, the vehicle's temperature exceeds 100. If there is a ramp, it reaches 105 and it does not go below 105 even if the road is leveled. Recirculation, thermostat, switch, water tank cover, radiator fan resistance changed. I also cleaned the radiator with the radiator cleaner. But the problem is not solved.

Did anyone have the same problem, or is there a special service you can direct? By the way, I live in Bursa.

The fan roles have changed. If the role is faulty, the fan may not be switching to level 2.

Perhaps the vehicle is not overheating, the indicator is showing faulty.

I hope that the temperature indicator has been tested before changing so many parts, that is, the temperature has been confirmed to be really high.

First of all, verify that the fan has passed to stage 2, if so, see if there is a low speed in its rotation.

An unconscious master recirculation, heater core etc. in the maintenance history of the vehicle . If it has changed, it may have caused clogging / contraction in different places in circulation. They peel and clean the excess heat-resistant liquid gasket used for sealing with their fingers from the outside, but they do not think to what extent the silicone overflowing inside will reach!

How did you understand that the temperature is 100 105? The indicator passes 90, it opens the first level in 96, it opens the second level in 106, but the indicator misleads you. You need to connect the device and measure the temperature.

Hello Friend, as far as I understand your vehicle is not overheating
In 307s, the indicator sometimes comes to 110 and turns on the fan.
Also, if you buy and install a new model radiator, the temperature indicator will return to normal.

We're [I'm] glad to be here Smile no antifreeze, no problem. I am traveling in the 110s even though there is antifreeze

There is a different problem as if the water is slowing down somewhere. I set off in the morning, I am traveling between 105-110 in the midday heat of YÖK.

I look at the temperature gauge and I'm afraid to gasket the temperature. No problem opening the fan

Although the water boiling is not complete, the installation makes air. I'm getting the air. It goes well for a while, so you can see the light ramp again.

I have never checked the hoses above 100 degrees. Does it need to harden at 100 degrees boiling point (when overheated)

Frankly, I act according to the value in the vehicle's indicator.

The fan stages are working and also confirm the tachometer. 97 opens the second stage between the first 105-110. Last week, I am going to Izmir Manisa ramp. I went up to 110 degrees. As the ramp goes down in gear, it fell down to 100. When I shifted the gear, the temperature does not decrease, on the contrary it rises or stays the same.

I do not know much about the history of the vehicle. I bought the car in the winter, it has not passed 97 until the summer, summer has come and it has become a problem. Could the indicator be broken? Available in small blows on the radiator

Temperature in the 307s is considered normal around 105s .. it is time to turn on the fan because .. it was strange to me when I first bought it but it is really normal .. did you have a problem with this? What did you experience other than the visual you see?
