However, when I parked the car last night, the ignition was off and after a while, the headlights and instrument panel turn on by themselves. When you replace the ignition and turn the ignition off, it straightens and turns off. But after a while they reopen on their own. Last night, I removed the battery terminals so that it would not discharge the battery until the morning. When I started it in the morning and went to work, it started doing it again, turning on the headlights when the ignition was off. As a last resort, I removed the headlight sockets so that I wouldn't have to deal with constantly disconnecting the battery. The instrument panel does not open by itself, it has been fixed, but the headlight socket is disconnected. I wonder why he does it, I would appreciate if anyone who knows can help

I have the same problem. Mine doesn't do it anymore, but I solved it like this. The silicone at the bottom of the front window grille is worn out, so water is getting into the BSI brain. To solve this, you need to apply silicone to the grille.

Hello Mr. Hakan, I own a 2006 Peugeot 307. My wipers and headlights are working even when the key isn't in the car. I took it to three electricians, but they couldn't fix it. Finally, I went to a technician. The car is currently at the technician's office. We'll see what the cause is and how much it costs.

I unplugged the headlights and drove around like that for three days. There were also airbag wires under the seat. One of the wires was stripped and I think it was connecting to the chassis. I taped it up. Then I plugged the headlights back in and it didn't work again. No problem for now.

Hello; As I mentioned before, my car's wipers and headlights were working where it was parked. I took them to three electricians, and they couldn't find anything. Everyone insisted it was a technician's job, so I had no choice but to go to a technician. Since the problem didn't always occur, and when I went to the technician, I explained the situation. They tried to repair the control unit for the headlights and wipers, but they said they couldn't do it and would replace it with a used one. They wanted 3,500 TL. I said, "Go ahead and do it." I had no other choice. Then, since my air conditioner wasn't cooling, I went to the repair shop, thinking it was out of gas. That's where the real problem turned out to be. So I changed the ECU for nothing :( The battery charger cable and the air conditioner valve cable etc. are located near the right front wheel. Those cables were separated by rubbing against the front wheel axle, and the cables were stripped and caused a short circuit when they touched each other. The A/C technician said that if we had been a little later in repairing the cable, your car would have caught fire. (May God forbid) When I went to the A/C technician after the ECU technician, when the A/C technician made the same mistake when he repaired those chassis cables, I said that must have been the problem. My advice to you is of course to take it to a good mechanic for such problems (if you can find one). Also, have all the electrical components of the car checked, and if you are getting the same error, it may not necessarily be due to the same problem as me. I hope I have helped you.
