We went to visit someone, and I had turned on the hazard lights thinking it would be a short visit, but it lasted a long time, and I forgot to turn them off. When I got back to the car, the battery was dead, and even jump-starting wouldn't work. The starter motor turns, but it doesn't engage. We took it to an electrician we know, and he said he had erased the immobilizer code from the ECU.
