On the passenger side of my 2006 model 307 1.4 comfort vehicle, there was a 2-3 cm opening in the airbag in the dashboard. There is no airbag deployment or operation in that area. you can see in the picture below. How can I close this gap or prevent it from growing? Does anyone have the same problem? What could be the reason? opening on the glass side. Thanks.

Get well soon. The same happened in mine, in the same place on the right. If I leave it in the sun even for 10 minutes, I put a sun visor. That tear zone should be extremely thin. Even if you take good care of the torpedo, it can be opened. Last September, I carefully masked both sides with paper masking tape and filled it with black silicone. I did it without carrying it carefully and leaving bumps. The result was very good. It wasn't even certain. When wintering, silicone was slightly removed from one side. Worse still, the crack has advanced 1-2 cm from the back and looks yellow again. I said if I made hot silicone this time. I did not dare that the edges would be bad from the heat. I am thinking of filling it again with normal silicone. It looks as good as at least 1 year. Very annoying such disruption of the chest in 8-10 years. It is not a part to change either. If anyone makes a more effective repair, write to us.

90% right passenger airbag trail is evident in 307s. but this is the first time I've seen it, someone may have fingered it. or it may be due to the sun or it is impossible to have this shape on your own. It is more logical to buy and put on a stand-up chest, or every time you see it, you will get cold inside the car.

Silicon came to my mind, and if God had an accident, I was afraid if it would cause a problem in the opening of the airbag. It is unlikely that it will prevent a very small area from being opened. How to repair vehicles that have an accident and the airbag is opened, are they using a paste or something to drive there. Even if we apply silicone, it is necessary to apply a little bit of rubbing around the cavity, not only to the cavity but also to the cavity, especially to cover the ends. So do you think we can prevent it from opening? |

I can say that the ratio does not have a finger. When I bought it, I would have noticed it. So you understand it was officially spontaneous ![]() |
