I bought a 307 two months ago and have been following the trend. During this time, the car's performance has dropped significantly. My 1.6 automatic transmission works fine in 1st and 2nd gears, but 3rd and 4th are practically nonexistent. It shifts gears around 4000-5000 RPM, but the car doesn't accelerate; it doesn't go above 50 km/h. I'm currently in a very tight financial situation and can't get it checked out. I don't know what the price would be. If anyone has experienced this before, please share your experience. Also, I don't know much about cars and don't want to be ripped off by mechanics.
