Good day everyone, I became a new member of the forum, I have the 2005 model 1.6 hdi 307, the temperature of my car is always between 70-80 degrees, I couldn't raise it to 90 degrees, even on the long road, it is around 75, I get a little tightened, it gets closer to 80 but when it goes normal, it turns around 75 again. I changed it, I told the master, he said it is normal, he said it will not heat in the winter, he worked for half an hour to activate the fan.

70-80 normal manager, I saw 90 for a while, I thought the vehicle was problematic.

I complain that it is low, the normal is to reach 90 degrees and remains constant. thanks for the answer.

I think around 70 is very low, not normal. Although the weather is cold, the engine must be between 80 and 90 in order to work efficiently. Cold weather does not cause the engine to start cold, it only causes late heating. In other words, when the weather is hot, the vehicle gets hot in 5 minutes, while the car is cold, it heats up in 15 minutes, but it gets hot. I think the thermostat can be switched on early.

Sir, I think it's not normal. It does not rise to 90 degrees, but it should not fall below 80.

while the antifreeze was changing, we emptied the old, added the new, waited for the water to be in circulation, started the car, the master waited for a while, when the temperature reached 80, the water in the container decreased, this situation shows that the thermostat turned on early, the fan does not turn on early, I know for sure

Sir, those degrees are not normal, if you do not force it in my vehicle, it would remain between 70-80. Your thermostat or the sensor is defective. I think it is probably a thermostat.

My friend writes on the thermostat how many degrees it is. I remember that it is 88-89 degrees in general.

it says 83 degrees on the thermostats I see from the net, I asked him, it wasn't a low temperature to open the 83 degrees thermostat. like for example here. (https://mobilotoservis.com/termostat/gates-th41183g1-p)

I was going to buy a retmostat but there was a problem, there is a new model thermostat on the vehicle, but when I look at it from the chassis, the old type thermostat appears, my vehicle is 2005 model 1.6 hdi 2006.

have your thermostat checked, possibly due to it, sometimes they may not be disassembling

I had the same problem, even 75 was hard, it was a lot of long landings. Thanks to the friends in the forum, they told me to change the thermostat and went to buy a thermostat for 45 TL. there was a decline.
