307 1.6 hdi oil advice.

Friends are good forums. It is time for my car to be maintenance, I am waiting for oil advice from experienced friends. my vehicle 307 (2006 model) 1.6 hdi 90 hp. I'll take the oil castrol. Should I buy Castrol 5w-40 or 5w30 which one would you recommend?

I think admin service is using total brand in some places like this. They say the total proposed by Peugeot. I have always used castrol in my vehicles. I had no problems at all. What brand do you use?

yes, the service is total. The same with total-elf. Use every oil with a beautiful brand, there is not much difference in 10w40.

I use Mobil 10w40 because of the fact that I do not use mobile, the brand that uses the highest zinc value in oil is mobile.

The previous owner gave me the km and service bills. When I asked what oil you use, all of the treatments were done in the service. The service used the oil recommended by Peugeot, I know that much. As a result of my research, peugeot service is using total. Since I bought the car, no oil has been lost. Think Castrol edge turbo diesel 5w-40. I was using castrol in all of my previous vehicles.
