Friends, in the previous maintenance, the father put the bp 10-40w model oil on the vehicle. What oil do you recommend? If you have any other suggestions, would you write it with the model 10-40w?

I put a total in the private service 1 week ago, or rather, they did not see a problem.

Castrol EDGE 5-40 is fully synthetic or Mobil 1 0-40 is fully synthetic. Don't think of another fat.

[QUOTE = Berkay] I think Castrol EDGE 5-40 fully synthetic or Mobil 1 0-40 fully synthetic. Another fat thinking. [/ QUOTE]

I have been recommending it recently but you will not be surprised by the total fabrication because I have used total until now and I have never had a problem.

Within my own personal opinion and knowledge;

Now, technology has progressed so much that different companies have started to develop their products at small points in order to make a difference between them. Regarding the oil, apart from the oil essence, there is a lot of oil supplement added to the oil and these substances vary from company to company. Each company shapes its product in line with the results of its own R&D. However, this difference is not very clear to those like us. For example, if the total oil of the same viscosity gets 86,700 points from 100, Mobil's same oil also gets 86,701 points from 100 (numbers made up). So there is a difference, but it is very small and not really important to us. I do not think there is a slight difference between fats, provided that they are one of the big companies. I think you will be pleased unless you get oil other than Castrol, Mobil, Total and a few more producers. I personally use Mobil 1 in my car and it is nice but this is not a suggestion for you.
The important point here is whether your vehicle is decreasing its current mileage and current state. If the mileage is not very high and there is no oil reduction, you can play one or even two degrees in numbers.

whatever you put in a full synthetic 5/30 or 10/40 you change at 10,000 or 20,000 already 5/30 the vehicle works better because the oil is thin but it is a bit expensive
