Friends greetings. My 208 car now has CrossClimate 185 65 15 tires. I want as many big rims and thin sidewalls as I can in summer tires. 205 40 18 gti s available, if I take it to 208 would it be a problem rubbing etc. Thanks in advance.

It does not rub, it fits perfectly but thinning the cheek so much and enlarging the rim causes loss of comfort and performance. However, it also increases fuel consumption.

I do not recommend the 15 "original azure rim to the vehicle, except for the comfort and economy.

Does it matter a lot with 208 gti?

Does the same rim on 208 gti have trouble in my car because there are only 5 doors?

Right now there is Azure, but it looks small and feeble :)) It's time for a nice rim tire :)

3 doors have nothing to do with 5 doors. It does not cause any trouble for original tire sizes of 185/65/15 at 205/40/18. The problem is tiring, causing loss of performance and comfort. Since the suspension of the version with gti is adjusted for that tire size and it is a powerful engine, that size was considered appropriate. The factory also saw 185/65/15 suitable for your vehicle.

Let me say they will be. If you buy 18 wheels for that car, you will regret it no more than 3 months later and you will sell it as a clean wheel tire at 1000 km.

But it fits my vehicle. I also want half the price of the summer .. Wink

I think take Big smileBig smile

18 wheels take the life of the car :)

If I were 195 50 16 and I would do sports bow.

I don't want to miss your enthusiasm, but I also agree with friends. You will compromise both performance, comfort and fuel. Also, the rim you have mounted is not original, and it will tire the vehicle thoroughly if it replicates.

Thanks guys for the information and advice you provided. Do I need to find a spring and shock absorber suitable for these tires after buying a tire?

spring and shock absorber completely depends on your financial situation

Sport springs from 400 to 700 TL are available.

I think sports springs, steel rim and thin cheek are indispensable, I think the glazing closes the image becomes beautiful, you complete the visual beauty that the French forgot to make :)

Dude, I have no information about springs and shock absorbers. The current suspension is very hard, I have to slow down enough to officially stop to go through a tiny little car, the car is shaking in a small hole, but other cars can pass fast, how can I minimize this problem with the wheels I buy? Handling doesn't matter, comfort matters?

Brother what you say does not match each other but :) If you are not satisfied with the current situation, if you put on 18 wheels, you will not go off with that vehicle. Cheek thickness supports comfort. So if you have trouble with comfort, the thin cheek big rim will be even worse.
