Hello, I'm a new member of the forum. About a year ago, I joined the Peugeot family with a 2003 Peugeot 206 X-Line Automatic. For the past week, I've been experiencing problems shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. The revs approach 3000 when shifting to 2nd gear, and the gear change only occurs then. There's no problem shifting to 3rd and 4th gears, but I experience this problem in 1st and 2nd gears. It doesn't happen all the time; it recurs occasionally. I previously had the solenoid valve replaced in July 2024. The problem was that the car wouldn't shift into neutral, slipped into neutral, and overheated. I called Tütüncü Otomotiv in Kurtuluş, Istanbul, where I'd had previous work done, and explained the situation. They told me the transmission might need to be replaced and replaced, which would cost approximately 100,000 TL. I'll take it in for a detailed check on Tuesday, but the price seems a bit excessive. Does anyone have a similar problem or experience with this? Would it really cost that much? Note: This is my first car, and I'm not very knowledgeable about general car issues.
