I want to say with regret, that I need to open a clear and final point as I am tired of reading so many unnecessary topics are opened for my 206, I will wear wheels and neither will I wear wheels nor tires. As a former 206 user with 7 years of Peugeot knowledge and experience, I will summarize you briefly as questions and answers as follows.

Questions and Answers You Can Ask

1-) What rim would you recommend to my 206?

Of course, the wheel we can recommend is the original one produced by the factory and it is the most compatible wheel for your engine power.

2-) Which wheel is compatible with 206?

1.4 "14" - max 15 "rims for gasoline
14 "- max 15" rims for 1.4 HDi (you can install on 16 "-17" rims but you will shorten your car's turbo and engine life)
1.6 "for Gasoline 15" - max 17 "rim
2.0 Gasoline 17 "Wheels

3-) Which tire should I choose in 206?

Based on factory data;
175/65/14 on 14 "rim
195/55/15 on 15 "rim
195/50/16 on 16 "rim
205/40/17 on 17 "rim

Note: Tire manufacturers usually want to wear the tire by 5 points to show the rim.
If 55 is 50, 50 is 45, 45 is 40.

4-) If I put 15 "wheels on my original 14" car, what is the benefit and harm?

- Your comfort is slightly reduced.
- Fuel increases about 0.5-1 lt.
- Its grip increases as it expands to tire size.

5-) If I put 16 "-17" wheels on my original 14 "-15" vehicle, what is the benefit and harm?

- The image of your vehicle gets even more beautiful.
- Your fuel increases 1l-1.5lt.
- Your vehicle's traction drops (It accelerates harder, you have to press the gas more)
- The comfort of your vehicle is reduced.
- The probability of bending your rim and making balloons and splitting your tire increases.
- Depending on your front and rear team usage time and attention, your expenses may increase even more.
- Your grip increases.

6-) What are the best wheels in 206?

Because we always defend the original,

At 14 ", Boheme and Turning

At 15 ", Foudre (GTI), Sirocco (CC and Quiksilver) rim

At 16 ", the Ouragan (CC and GTI) rim

At 17 "Atlantis (RC) Wheel

Personal section

In this section, I would like to share my experiences as an old 206 1.4 HDi user.

Originally the 206 1.4 HDi vehicle I bought had 14 "hair wheels set.

I used 195/55/15 tires when using 15 "Sirocco and 15" 207 Monaco wheels.

Results; Vehicle fuel increased almost to 1 lt, road holding increased, the image became better. The vehicle started to give confidence because of its grip, the steering got a little heavy.

I used 205/40/17 tires on Challenger wheels (called 206 RC with hub but with a lot of weight difference) that are similar to 206 RC wheels in 17 "307 SW and CC.

Results; the vehicle was extremely intentional, fuel increased by around 1.5-2 liters. While traveling at a speed of 90 km, the car felt like it was going faster due to the decrease in comfort. I got cold from the car. No matter how the type and stance gets better, you will often see the 17 "wheels that have been bought and sold on the owner or other sites. No one wants to pay that much while stopping and selling for 1 month.

There was no difference in fuel after installing 14 "Boheme wheels.

In my summer 1.6 roland garros vehicle, 14 "boheme rim mounted in your summer, you should say it should be between 15" -17 "for 1.6 gasoline engines.

[QUOTE = Onurzdn] Do you think it would be a problem for my new 1.6 roland garros vehicle to be 14 "in your summer with 14" boheme rim installed and should be between 15 "-17" for 1.6 petrol engines? [/ QUOTE]

If you drive calmly, no problem

First of all, thank you for the information you have given. I have been 206 users for 5 years. My car is not equipped with 1.4 gasoline automatic and LPG. There was an incident happened to me. I did not know there, I learned that repair cost 200 TL for the first time such a thing happened to me.
