Dude I have a 206 2003 model too, even though it doesn't quite reach 100 in gas traffic, it almost gets close to it, it's estimated 96-97, everyone I talked to and asked each mechanic said it was normal, I read forums, I wrote and drew, I asked about 5 mechanic, I asked people who used the same model car, they all say the same thing, I can't say 100 degrees is normal, but my own car is on average 95 degrees, sometimes it goes to 98 during stop and go, it drops up to 70 times on a straight road. That's why I was fed up with the car, but that's the situation. I'm on the circuit too, the radiator was changed, the temperature doesn't drop for other reasons. I don't want to mislead you, but if this is a problem, it's very common. berkogut2024-04-03 18:45:10

Additionally, you almost had the car rebuilt. I don't know how and to what extent the engine was rebuilt. Did your mechanic say anything when you spoke to him? Because almost everything that needed to be done was done.

I've shown it to many mechanics. Some even said the line after 90 is 95. I talked to a few people and the owner's website says it doesn't exceed 90. Apparently, the catalytic converter is also hindering its function. I'll have it checked now.

I'm also very disillusioned with the car. If I can solve the problem, I'll post it here.

It's normal, sir. It's normal. The thermostat opens at 88 degrees, the fan stage 1 opens at 95, and the fan stage 2 opens at 105 degrees. In other words, the engineer who designed it intended it to run at around 90-100 degrees. As long as the temperature light is on, there's no problem. I drove a 206 for 8-9 years. My car was an automatic, and it has a transmission oil cooler integrated into the coolant. So, the temperature is even higher than a regular gasoline car. The system also tries to cool the transmission. Now, to those who say their car always stays at 90 degrees. They're the ones who use diesel 206s. Even if you spend a lot of money, this situation won't be fixed. Because this car is designed that way. In other words, this is normal.

Friends, I also recommend you to try replacing the fan resistor with the original one.
