206 Socket on the rear door

Good evening. When I removed the door panhandle to repair the central lock of the rear door of my vehicle, I came across the socket shown in the picture below. It was standing idle with 2 wires cut from the bottom. I said it could be a door speaker, but I wanted to ask if it could have another operation.
