I think the CD Player of the 2006 model is not suitable for the 2001 model. Their working systems are different. One (2006) is defined over BSI and the other (2001) is introduced by entering the code.

Now I can use my pioner cd player from the control lever. .The sound quality is much better than the pioner. It also has usb input. The original cd player only plays track.
