If you are talking about license plate leds, friends are sure to prevent water from entering.
First replace the photon brand 6000k bottomless leds with the old ones and test them without installing the covers.
Then clean the covers beautifully
Apply wax or clear silicone to the parts of the covers that will fit in place. Insulate the covers immediately before the silicone dries.
I applied a rubber wick with oring logic. It does not take any water. But if you want to insert the caps, something is almost impossible.
