206 gti breakdown help please

slm friends got 206 gti ma gas.If it wasn't more than 2 weeks since I used it, I didn't care about the engine auto diagnostic indicator lamp.I thought that this lamp was on in gas cars.I thought that it would not be a problem. And the 3rd rollers said electricity didn't go. Or he said computer error, but the car is running like gas machine. What do I need to do?
