206 GTI Air Intake Removal (Pictured) By suspending the vehicle, we remove the left tire (do not forget to use the coffee table after lifting the vehicle). The fender hood consists of two parts, front and rear. We just need to remove the front part and there are 2 cork clips right next to the shock absorber. These clips consist of 2 pieces that interlock. We disassemble the first one in the picture. The second is just in front of the shock absorber. We unscrew the hood connection screw on the bumper. Likewise, we remove the screw on the side of the bumper leggings. We remove the hood carefully, without damaging the hood or paint of our vehicle. NOTE: In versions without air-condition feature, there is a socket in the picture (Second fan) You can grease this socket, which is generally oxidized, by cleaning it with your ready hand (Do not forget to remove the battery terminal) We take a look at our fender without hood. The Funnel mouth is attached to the body with a velcro (Velcro: What we call velcro). Let's carefully rid the mouth of the funnel from here. The lower part of Funnel is attached to the body from two places. First of all, we need to remove the fog lamp. We carefully disassemble the electrical connector of the fog lamp. We unscrew the fog lamp. And we take it out of the bumper. While removing the fog light, we throw a few swear words with the sound that your mother will not hear :) (Walla was writing more originally, I softened it a bit) :) Now we can easily remove our funnel. NOTE: Funnel is attached to the main pipe with clips. Now we can replace our fog lamp back. Yes, now we can completely remove our air filter box. We separate the plastic clamp on the throat by disassembling it. We can take it out completely by removing the filter box from the passes. If your vehicle has battery protection, you also need to remove it. We remove the protection sheet in the picture from the connection point. Do not try to remove it from the top. Let it fall down, paying attention to the radiator. If you can screw the protection plate back in place after removing it in the remaining channel, screw it on. If you can't, stay. Do not forget to fix the suspended electrical cables somewhere with a plastic clamp.
