Hello friends;
I want to shorten the gearshift lever of my Peugeot 206. When I disassemble the knob, a straight shaft appears, cutting it 1-2 cm will shorten it. But will this have a disadvantage to me?
Do anyone have this process before, can you help ltf?

Apart from a little hardening, there is no side effect that I know.

In my opinion, my way will not be shortened on the roads, but you will get an aesthetic appearance.

Yes Haşim, I was thinking of him, there is a armrest in my car.
I made a spacer for the new bun, now I'll try it maybe I might not cut it if it looks nice like this
